Majestic Wine entrusted us with the design of their head office in Watford. A sweeping staircase forms the central circulation space and hub of the building, creating interaction between employees at all levels.
As a specialist wine retailer there was a specific requirement for dedicated tasting facilities, wine storage and creativity areas, which we formed with frameless glass and fully bespoke furniture. Break out areas were created as communal spaces increasing opportunities for interaction between employees from different areas of the company.
Ormerod Sutton was directly responsible for cost savings of GBP1.1m on a budget of GBP3.6m when compared to the original quotation received by the client from a turnkey solution provider.
